Breaking: Job Cuts Announced at NZ’s Ministry of Education

Staff cuts can be expected from “low priority” areas in the Education Ministry, Education Minister Anne Tolley announced this morning.

Ms Tolley said the ministry would be looking to find $25 million in savings by the 2012-13 financial year, by focusing on regional and local work over the national office’s.
