Labour to showcase Pacific team tomorrow

The Labour Party will showcase its Pacific team for this year’s election at the Pacific Sector Council’s Fiafia night at Papatoetoe Town Hall tomorrow.

Pacific Sector Council chair Jerome Mika says the fact there are six Pacific candidates on the Labour Party list shows the party is serious about building a strong Pacific team for the future that is prepared to listen to Pacific communities and continue to support their aspirations.

The Labour Pacific Sector Fiafia night will include performances from Pacific communities, Pacific art auctioned by surprise celebrity auctioneers, and special performances by Ben Makisi and Karlo Mila Schaff.

Doors will open at 6pm and there are limited door sales available.

Venue: Papatoetoe Town Hall, 35 St. George Street, Papatoetoe.

Date: Saturday, September 20.
